Electrical Design Drafter Opportunity

Seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Drafter to collaborate with clients, designing electrical systems and automation layouts tailored to their specific needs. This role requires strong communication skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate information is collected from clients through regular follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with designers and clients to discuss electrical requirements, working closely with homeowners, building companies, architects, or engineers as necessary.
  • Develop electrical designs and automation layouts that meet client specifications, utilizing technical skills such as drafting electrical designs, designing lighting and power layouts, and understanding Australian building methods.
  • Verify consistency between quoted products and project drawings to avoid potential losses.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and building companies, documenting all project-related conversations and ensuring proper representation of installed products.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Visio.
  • Ability to draft electrical designs, design lighting and power layouts, and understand Australian building methods.
  • Attention to detail is critical for success in this role.
Working Conditions:

This position involves working from home, adhering to a standard Monday-to-Friday schedule, following Australian holidays, and participating in shutdowns towards the end of the year.
