Customer Service Representative

This position is responsible for providing top-notch customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a strong ability to multitask.

  • The role involves operating cash registers, handling payments, and making change.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial when balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
  • Excellent customer service skills are necessary to handle exchanges, refunds, and ensure every customer leaves satisfied.
Job Requirements
  • Basic math skills are required for collecting payments and making change.
  • Able to operate various equipment such as scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals.
  • Must have excellent communication and people skills to interact with customers effectively.
  • Computer literate and willing to learn new systems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar industry or related field.
  • Experience with POS systems is a plus.
Work Environment
  • Work in a dynamic retail environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills.
  • Be flexible and willing to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
