Seeking Financial Operations Manager

We're looking for a seasoned professional to oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

This role requires managing complex financial data across multiple systems, leveraging automation to optimize processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Performance Management: Ensure timely completion of monthly financial close, deliver accurate and detailed financial statements.
  • Data Management & Analysis: Oversee data flow between Traverse (accounting), Impress (manufacturing ERP), and Shopify platforms, providing insights for business growth.
  • Cash Flow Management: Reconcile revenue and cash deposits across hundreds of Shopify stores, ensure accurate reconciliation of payments from various sources.
  • Manufacturing Cost Management: Track production costs and job profitability using Impress ERP, oversee inventory valuation, cycle counting, and cost of goods sold calculations.
  • Process Optimization: Gradually implement AI tools to automate bank reconciliations, invoice processing, and expense management.
  • Leadership & Compliance: Direct supervision of Staff Accountant, ensure adherence to GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • Experience: Minimum 7-10 years progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in senior management role.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced experience with integrated ERP systems, extensive Shopify experience, proven US state sales tax compliance skills.
