Job Description:

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SMSF Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2+ years' experience working on Australian Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs). They will be confident using Class Super and Excel, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.


The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and managing SMSF accounting and compliance tasks within Class Super. This includes preparing workpapers, reconciliations, and reports for SMSF clients. Additionally, they will assist with the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and regulatory documents. Other key responsibilities include performing bank reconciliations, investment reconciliations, and member statements, ensuring compliance with ATO and Superannuation Industry requirements, and working closely with auditors, administrators, and financial planners as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience working with SMSFs in Australia.
  • Strong working knowledge of Class Super.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reconciliations, formulas, data analysis).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and accuracy.
