Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to design, develop and maintain data architecture that powers our systems and intelligence. This role requires strong technical vision and practical execution skills to ensure data structures are built for performance, security, and scale.

The ideal candidate will have experience in database design, data engineering, or data architecture roles with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results. Proficiency in data modeling tools, programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Scala, and cloud data platforms is essential.

This role involves designing and implementing data models, structures, and databases to support enterprise applications and analytics. The successful candidate will also collaborate with software engineering teams to define data requirements and guide the implementation of efficient data access patterns.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in database design, data engineering, or data architecture roles
  • Proven expertise in relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra), with strong, non-negotiable experience in PostgreSQL
  • Proficient in data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, dbt, ERwin) and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Scala
  • Familiar with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse)
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
  • Knowledgeable in data governance, security, and compliance best practices
