Project In-Charge Engineer Job Summary

GREEN ASIA CONSTRUCTION & DEVELOPMENT CORP. is a client-focused construction organization providing multi-disciplinary construction services across various building and infrastructure sectors.

As a Project In-Charge Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the Resident Engineer/Project Manager with construction schedule preparation, site workload supervision, and material acceptance processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Resident Engineer/Project Manager in construction schedule preparation and site workload supervision.
  • Process material acceptance letters.
  • Maintain organized construction files, project records, and logs.
  • Oversee and review daily field inspector reports.
  • Track, document, and manage project issues and conditions.
  • Attend project meetings and record meeting minutes.
  • Prepare monthly project status reports.
  • Assist Project Manager/Resident Engineer with payment requisition review.
  • Participate in project close-out activities, including resolving potential claims.
  • Track and process contract payments, including fuel, asphalt, and steel adjustments.
  • Prepare and reconcile cost-plus records.
  • Review, analyze, and make recommendations for contractor claims.
  • Establish and maintain shop drawings, working drawings, and submittals.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of relevant Project In-Charge Engineer experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AUTOCAD, and other engineering software or programs.
  • Knowledgeable of construction materials, methods, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with contract documents and construction plans and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong time management skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong client relationship management expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with License.
  • Specialty knowledge of transit, bridge, roadway, utility, or transportation work.
  • Willingness to work at the Batangas construction site project.
