Job Overview

Live Production Leadership Role

The Live Production Director oversees all aspects of poultry live operations, including breeder, hatchery, grow-out, and health management. This critical role ensures optimal bird performance, animal welfare, and operational efficiency.

  • Manage live production operations to meet volume, quality, and cost targets.
  • Develop strategic plans for breeder, hatchery, and grow-out operations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with contract growers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor production metrics for improvement opportunities and cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration across the value chain.
  • Provide leadership and development to production managers and field teams.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years experience in poultry live production or related agricultural operations.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex operations.
  • Operational data analysis and financial metric proficiency.
  • Customer-facing or supplier relationship experience.
  • At least 6 years supervisory experience in live production.
  • Success in driving operational improvements and cost efficiencies.
