Geospatial Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to support our Customer Operations division. This role involves working with a market-leading SaaS technology platform serving the global network construction industry.

This position requires designing, developing and maintaining internal tools and scripts using Python to support operations workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop internal tools and scripts using Python to improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and optimize ETL processes for spatial data into relational databases such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS.
  • Automate data transformation and processing pipelines to enhance productivity and maintainability.
  • Troubleshoot and support internal tools and workflows in both production and development environments.
  • Ensure code quality through version control, testing, code reviews, and comprehensive documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant engineering field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Python development.
  • Hands-on experience with geospatial tools such as QGIS, PyQGIS, or GIS libraries like GDAL/OGR, Shapely, or GeoPandas.
  • Demonstrated experience in scripting and automating data processing tasks.
  • Proficient in SQL and relational databases, with a preference for PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
