Senior Software Engineer

Are you a software engineering professional looking for a new challenge?

This role is ideal for someone who has experience with .NET technologies, SQL Server, and microservices architecture.

The successful candidate will have strong skills in C#, ASP.Net, MVC 4.0 or above, SQL Server 2019 or above, and RESTful APIs.

They will also be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions.
  • Implement all aspects of an application design, including high performance design, coding, caching mechanisms, security, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration, and testing.
  • Develop efficient Stored Procedures and queries in MS SQL.
  • Evaluate and improve application performance.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience with .NET Technologies (.NET Core, ASP.Net, MVC 4.0 or above) with C# as primary language.
  • 3 + Years experience with SQL Server 2019 or above.
  • Working knowledge on microservice architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with publishing and consuming RESTful APIs programmatically and using tools like Postman.
  • Experience in preparing unit tests with Nunit or Xunit.
  • Experience working with distributed source control like GIT.
  • Healthcare experience preferable.
  • Should have good experience in writing efficient SQL queries.
  • A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Ability to effectively communicate within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and directed with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently execute tasks with minimal or no supervision.
  • Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.

Work Conditions
  • Work Set-up: Fully Remote.
  • Work Schedule: US Hours (Night Shift); Must be amenable to work on weekends.
  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; Sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals, and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear.
  • Mental Demands: The employee must be able to follow directions, collaborate with others, and handle stress.
  • Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
