Job Overview

The Senior Billing/Accounts Receivable role is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire billing and accounts receivable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the billing and accounts receivable process to ensure timely and accurate payments from customers.
  2. Prepare and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and manage the collection process to minimize delinquencies.
  4. Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and address any billing issues promptly.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to improve the billing and collection process.
  6. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  7. Prepare financial reports related to billing and accounts receivable, providing insights and recommendations.
  8. Maintain compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations.
  9. Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial reporting and audits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
