Senior Quality Assurance Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance professional to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the highest standards of engineering quality, driving continuous improvement of reliability and maintaining a robust testing infrastructure.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyze technical specifications and devise effective test strategies.
  • Develop automated functional and performance tests.
  • Review existing processes, propose improvements and implement changes to enhance quality or speed of testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct user acceptance and exploratory testing.
  • Evaluate distributed systems, identify issues and root cause problems.
  • Drive end-to-end testing of integrated proprietary and third-party services.
  • Provide guidance on testing best practices, coordinate test coverage and review/audit work done to ensure completeness and quality.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, negotiate severity and track issues until closure.
  • Maintain QA documentation, including Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Metrics and relevant records.
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a senior software quality assurance specialist, with expertise in developing and executing test strategies.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and self-drive test strategy execution.
  • Proficiency in Typescript is essential.
  • Proven track record in creating automated solutions from scratch.
  • Expert knowledge of API (RESTful) testing frameworks and tools.
  • Demonstrated passion for improving quality across deployment, security, stability and performance.
  • Experience in defining performance test requirements and carrying out load and stress tests.
  • Strong understanding of test execution in CICD pipelines, preferably YAML-based.
  • Familiarity with iPaaS or Middleware is desirable.
