Software Tester Job Description

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our project team. As a Software Tester, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and reliability of software before it is released for production.

You will work closely with developers and other testers to identify and report defects in the issue tracking system. Your main tasks will include executing functional and non-functional tests on multi-platform and cross-browser software applications, creating and maintaining the automation framework, conducting requirements analysis, and defining and maintaining comprehensive test cases and test suites based on functional and non-functional requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Knowledgeable in at least one automation framework.
  • Experience in software development and testing, preferably using Agile development/testing techniques.
  • Experience with various environments, including the ability to write scripts.
  • Experience in multiple platforms is a must.
  • Experience with database applications.
  • Experience in cross-browser testing.
  • Experience working with multiple concurrent projects and a range of software products.
  • Possesses strong functional and technical skills with a demonstrated ability to comprehend complex software requirements.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), or equivalent working experience is preferred.
  • At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
