Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Job

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud administration, with expertise in DevOps practices and FinOps.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure, including Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Implement and manage DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation.
  • Oversee cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical services and projects.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for cloud configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Implement and manage FinOps practices to optimize cloud costs and ensure financial accountability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Proactively manage cloud resources to ensure sufficient capacity for future needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our cloud infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud administration.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and FinOps.
  • In-depth knowledge of core services like compute, storage, networking, databases, and security features.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation tools.
  • Experience with cloud management and monitoring tools.
  • Understanding of network concepts like subnetting, routing, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and implementation of security controls.
  • Basic understanding of containerization technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
