Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand storage requirements and design storage solutions that align with client needs and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate storage hardware and software components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Deploy and configure storage arrays, SAN/NAS devices, and related infrastructure to ensure seamless integration with existing IT systems.
  • Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of storage configurations, procedures, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years' experience managing NAS and SAN data storage arrays in an enterprise setting, preferably in a highly regulated environment.
  • Industry certifications or demonstrable experience managing data storage systems in an ethernet and fiber channel switching configuration, including FC zoning, array volume management, and consumption supporting virtualized compute environments.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation using PowerShell, Python scripting, and experience working in a code repository CI/CD environment.
