We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team. This is a key role that requires expertise in Australian taxation, with a strong focus on providing high-quality financial services to clients.

Job Description:
  • Prepare and lodge tax returns, activity statements, and other financial documents for companies, partnerships, trusts, and individual businesses.
  • Utilize your knowledge of Australian tax regulations to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Draft and prepare financial statements, income tax returns, and other lodgments for clients.
  • Tax Planning: Provide tax planning advice to clients, guiding them through FBT (Fringe Benefits Tax), payroll tax, Div7a, CGT (Capital Gains Tax), and STP (Single Touch Payroll).
  • Client Support: Partner with clients on business advisory projects, developing budgets, cash flow forecasts, and management reports.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed client files and work papers, ensuring compliance with all record-keeping requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Australian taxation, with a solid grasp of tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven proficiency in preparing tax returns, activity statements, and various lodgements for diverse client structures.
  • High attention to detail and precision, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify potential tax issues and provide clients with effective solutions.
  • Experience in XERO or MYOB AE.
