Senior Tax Specialist

Experience required:

  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Australian tax within an accounting firm, specializing in SMEs.

Responsibilities include preparing and completing year-end financial statements and tax returns for individuals, businesses, and entities in accordance with Australian tax laws.

Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in tax planning and client-facing services considered an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software is required; familiarity with Fathom or similar tools beneficial.

Job responsibilities also include managing BAS and IAS lodgments, payroll tax, FBT, Division 7A compliance, and liaising with the ATO to address any issues.
