Medical Information Specialist RoleAbout the Job

We are seeking an experienced Medical Information Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely information to healthcare professionals, patients, and consumers via various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responding to Enquiries: You will respond to medical and safety-related enquiries from clients using approved product information, scientific literature, and internal data.
  • Documenting Adverse Events: You will document and report adverse events, product complaints, and other safety concerns in line with regulatory standards.
  • Supporting Quality: You will support the quality of the service by performing checks on safety reports and medical enquiries.
  • Custom Responses: You will write high-quality custom medical responses when needed, based on client-approved resources.
  • Training and Mentorship: You will provide informal training or mentorship to new team members as you develop in the role.
  • Process Improvement: You will contribute to process improvements and suggest updates to internal procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Pharmacy or MD
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • An interest in drug safety, medical information, or regulatory affairs
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to learn
