A software development company seeks a skilled Cloud Software Developer to accelerate entrepreneurs and innovators with dedicated remote engineers.

About the Role

You will be responsible for analyzing business needs, designing, and building new cloud solutions using modern Java deployment concepts, agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.

  • Analyze business requirements and propose/implement software solutions as part of an agile team.
  • Design and develop new Java applications for the cloud, focusing on APIs and microservices.
  • Implement modern Java deployment strategies, including serverless functions and containerized applications.
  • Apply DevOps best practices, such as continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), to ensure rapid-but-robust deployments.
Key Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in web development, including 3 years of recent experience in Java.
  • Familiarity with Kotlin.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Knowledge of Spring Boot.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services.
  • Expertise in Git and version control systems like GitHub or Bitbucket.
  • Strong understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) principles.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Relevant educational background.
