Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
About the RoleThis role requires a professional with excellent leadership skills to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and related tasks.
The Financial Operations Manager will play a critical role in maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures while improving processes. They will also be responsible for establishing and executing process improvements and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
In addition, the Financial Operations Manager will work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless collaboration and effective communication. They will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to team members, including training and coaching.
Responsibilities- Lead and Manage the Financial Operations Team: Oversee daily operations, manage team members, and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and accurately.
- Process Invoices and Payments: Review and process vendor invoices, match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents, code invoices with correct general ledger account codes, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure that all AP transactions are accurately recorded and documented.
- Collaborate with Internal Departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Establish and Monitor KPIs: Develop and track KPIs to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform Audits and Implement Process Improvements: Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coach and Train Team Members: Provide guidance, support, and training to team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Provide Reports and Updates: Prepare and deliver reports to stakeholders as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Related Field: A degree in accounting or a related field is required.
- Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in software applications such as Restaurant 365 is a plus.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
