Financial Operations Role

The objective of this position is to support daily financial operations with a focus on expense management, data accuracy and documentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all corporate expenses are properly categorized by account and department prior to month-end close.

  • Coordinate with finance teams to reconcile card transactions and correct or complete financial coding and documentation.
  • Identify recurring issues in expense classification and propose solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Monitor and validate the classification of key expense types including software, sales & marketing and contractor payments.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and assist with ad-hoc finance requests as needed.

In order to succeed in this role, you should possess strong Excel skills with working knowledge of formulas, pivot tables and data cleanup techniques. You should also have high proficiency in English both written and verbal and be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and clarify procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting or operations support roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring deadlines.
  • Self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn new tools, systems and processes.
