Job Summary:

The Store Cashier role is crucial in the retail sector, responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.

This key position involves various tasks including performing basic math functions for payments and change, operating registers, scanners, scales, and card terminals, balancing cash register and generating sales reports, accepting payments, ensuring accuracy, and providing receipts, handling exchanges and refunds efficiently, maintaining an accurate cash drawer, and keeping the checkout area clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage cash register and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree (preferably in Business or any 4-year course).
  • Experience in cashiering, preferably with POS systems.
  • Ability to provide quality customer service.
  • Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Willing to work in a dynamic retail environment.
