Senior Shopify Developer Job Description

As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to crafting and maintaining high-converting e-commerce experiences. You will work on delivering exceptional online shopping experiences that stand out in the digital marketplace by collaborating with designers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customize and maintain Shopify themes using selections from the Shopify Theme Store, focusing on Enterprise or Impact themes.
  • Develop and implement bespoke Shopify themes as needed, ensuring each client's vision is realized.
  • Dive into WordPress, PHP, and Laravel projects when opportunities arise, expanding your skill set.
  • Work hand-in-hand with our internal team to ensure projects are completed on time and exceed client expectations.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with team members in English, facilitating smooth project progress.
  • Enhance website functionality by integrating third-party applications and APIs.
  • Ensure fast load times and a seamless user experience across devices.
  • Build websites following SEO best practices to improve site visibility and search rankings.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in Shopify development, with a proven ability to customize themes and build custom solutions as needed.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
  • Familiar with PHP and frameworks like Laravel.
  • Experience with WordPress development is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication skills for clear internal collaboration.
  • Available to work West Coast hours.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Ability to integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance store functionality.
