About the Role

The Production Scheduler 2 plays a critical role in providing on-site support for all production processing streams in a multi-platform environment.

Main Accountabilities
  1. Environment Monitoring
  • Use established tools to monitor production status across Mainframe, UNIX, LINUX, and NT platforms.
First-Level Response and Resolution
  • Respond quickly to job failures and take corrective actions when possible.
Escalation and Documentation
  • Evaluate and escalate issues requiring second-level support.
  • Document issues in the Problem Management system and conduct follow-ups for resolution.
Communication and Training
  • Inform relevant production support teams of outstanding issues.
  • Provide training to new/junior analysts as required.
Requirements
  1. Education and Background
  • Possess an Associate degree and/or 5-7 years of experience in a production environment.
Technical Competencies
  • Proficient in Cybermation/ESP scheduling software package.
  • Familiar with OS JCL & SDSF skill set.
Skillset and Knowledge
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
