Chief Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Chief Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:
  • Overall responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the vessel's engines, mechanical systems, and related equipment.
  • Supervise and manage the engineering department, ensuring that all tasks and projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex technical operations, as well as strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Requirements:
  • Valid Certificate of Competency and Certificate of Endorsement in Management Level of Engineering Watch issued by the country of nationality and flag state.
  • Valid Passport, Seafarer's Identification and Record Book, and Seafarer's Registration Certificate issued by the country of nationality.
  • Training certificates under national or flag state requirements and the 1978 STCW Convention, as amended.
  • Completed approved education and training meeting the competence standards in section A-III/3 of the STCW code.
  • Approved seagoing service of at least 2 years as a Second Engineer.
  • Computer literate and physically fit for sea duty.
