Accountant Position

This role involves preparing and adjusting Journal Entries, recording accruals, deferrals, and intercompany transactions. The successful candidate will maintain accurate general ledger accounts for each association.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and adjustment of Journal Entries
  • Maintenance of accurate general ledger accounts
  • Posting homeowner payments received via lockbox, online portal, or manual processing
  • Application of payments accurately against homeowner accounts
  • Reconciliation of batch deposits to bank statements and payment reports
  • Invoicing and Coding Entry
  • Homeowner Billing: generation and distribution of monthly, quarterly, or annual homeowner assessments
  • Processing special assessments and miscellaneous charges
  • Maintenance of accuracy in billing cycles and homeowner ledger balances
  • Monthly bank reconciliations for operating and reserve accounts
  • Investigation and resolution of discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Accounts Payable Management: processing vendor payments according to due dates and association policies
  • Generation of monthly financial statements for each association
  • Assistance with budget-to-actual variance explanations for community managers
  • Preparation of schedules and documentation for annual audits or reviews
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as General Accountant, Staff Accountant, General Ledger
  • Strong accounting terminology in English
  • Experience with Accrual and Cash accounting
  • Experience with preparation and review of budgets
  • HOA industry experience is mandatory
  • CINC software experience is mandatory
  • Intermediate Excel skills
Working Conditions:
  • Monday to Friday schedule
  • Standard Schedule: 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. Manila Time
  • Daylight Saving: 9:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. Manila Time
