Job Title: Medical Information Specialist

ProPharma is seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Information Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Information Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and timely medical information to healthcare professionals, consumers, and other external customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Responds to inquiries from unsolicited consumer, health care professional and other external customer requests for medical and safety information.
  • Provides labeled and unlabeled medical/safety information responses in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Accurately identifies, documents and reports adverse events, pregnancy reports, special situation events and product complaints.
  • Ensures tasks are completed within the deadlines documented in the agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Working Practices (WPs).
  • Formulates and provides accurate responses utilizing approved labeling and company standard responses, published literature and other data.
  • Logs all inquiries handled in an accurate, comprehensive, and timely fashion into Inquiry Handling Systems.
  • Provides after-hours coverage on a rotated basis subject to business requirements.
  • Adheres to company and country-specific privacy policies, ensuring any confidential information or personal data related to ProPharma and its clients is managed in accordance with Data Privacy regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Life Sciences or Nursing and have experience working in a similar role. They will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication skills.
