We are seeking a highly skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering and technical services group, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

About the Role

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange information in a clear and concise manner.

What You'll Need

  • National Certificate of Completion II (NCII) Domestic Roving Activity Coordinator (DomRAC) with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange information effectively.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
