Job Title: Virtual Pharmacist Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to support our healthcare office remotely as a Virtual Pharmacist Assistant. In this role, you will assist the pharmacist and healthcare team with administrative tasks such as managing medication records, coordinating patient communications, assisting with prescription processing, and ensuring compliance with healthcare protocols.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of healthcare office operations related to medication management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prescription Transfer Follow-Up:
    • Verify fulfillment of transferred prescriptions and confirm receipt with pharmacies.
  • Patient Communication:
    • Call patients to confirm they received their transferred prescriptions and provide professional, compassionate support.
  • Documentation:
    • Accurately record all interactions and updates in our pharmacy operating system.
  • Data Entry Tasks:
    • Link compounded medications to specific prescription numbers and manage prescription data across multiple systems and tools.
    Requirements:
    • Licensed and registered pharmacist (active license required).
    • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a pharmacy or related healthcare setting.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant, preferably in a healthcare or pharmacy-related role.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • High attention to detail, especially in documentation and data accuracy.
    • Proficient with software programs and comfortable navigating multiple systems.
    • Able to work independently in a fully remote environment.
