Job Title: Senior F&B Operations Manager


Overview

This is a dynamic role for an experienced F&B professional who can drive operational excellence and deliver exceptional guest experiences. As a key member of the hotel's leadership team, you will oversee the daily operations of our Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to high standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management
  1. Supervise day-to-day operations of restaurants, bars, in-room dining, and banquet functions.
  2. Ensure smooth service flow and prompt guest assistance during meal periods and events.
  3. Coordinate with the Culinary and Banquet teams for seamless execution of service.
  4. Monitor cleanliness, orderliness, and ambiance of outlets in line with hotel standards.
  5. Oversee cash handling, billing accuracy, and end-of-shift reports.


Guest Service & Engagement
  1. Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction by maintaining service excellence and responding quickly to concerns.
  2. Handle guest complaints tactfully, ensuring resolution and follow-up.
  3. Promote hotel loyalty programs, F&B promotions, and upselling opportunities.
  4. Maintain visibility in outlets, actively engaging guests and ensuring personalized service.
  5. Supervise and motivate F&B associates, ensuring compliance with grooming and service standards.
  6. Conduct pre-shift briefings, delegate tasks, and monitor performance on the floor.
  7. Assist in training and coaching new hires and existing staff on service procedures, upselling, and guest engagement.
  8. Support staff scheduling and manage attendance to ensure adequate manpower.


Administration & Compliance
  1. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
  2. Monitor inventory, requisitions, and minimize wastage.
  3. Assist in preparation of reports including sales summaries, outlet performance, and guest feedback.
  4. Support F&B Manager in implementing hotel policies, cost controls, and revenue-generating initiatives.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field preferred.
  • At least 2–3 years of F&B Team Lead experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in an upscale hotel.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and F&B controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and guest-oriented mindset.
  • Flexible to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays.
