Financial Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and providing financial support to our business.
The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, including experience with Xero and Australian accounting practices. You will also possess excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team.

About the Role:
- Manage end-to-end accounts receivable process, from invoicing to reconciliation
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain accurate AR ledgers
- Follow up with clients professionally on overdue invoices
- Handle client queries regarding payments and terms
- Implement effective collection strategies in line with compliance standards
- Generate AR reports and suggest improvements to AR workflows
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general bookkeeping duties, including data entry and bank reconciliation
- Assist with financial reporting and basic analysis
- Handle accounts payable and support tax compliance documentation
- Collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams
Core Expertise:
- Strong background in accounts receivable processes
- Proficiency in Xero
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills
