Actuarial Assistant Manager Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Assistant Manager to join our team. This role involves performing various actuarial pricing services, including developing mechanical designs of life insurance products, setting rates, and preparing documents for internal product approval.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or related field, with at least 7 years of actuarial work experience in Insurance or Financial Services. They should also possess excellent proficiency in MS Office, GGY AXIS, SQL, Qlikview, Python, or similar programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of life insurance products to meet financial, regulatory, and competitive objectives.
- Assumption development and documentation for pricing initiatives.
- Rate setting and preparation of Product Pricing Reports (PPR) and Risk Proposal Outline (RPO).
- Model development and maintenance using Axis and/or Excel for pricing initiatives and financial planning.
- Implementation of UAT activities for system builds.
- Regulatory filing of products.
- Annual new business plan development, submissions, and approval.
- Project management and task allocation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field.
- At least 7 years of actuarial work experience in Insurance or Financial Services.
- Associate designation in any recognized actuarial organization (SOA, ASP).
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office, GGY AXIS, SQL, Qlikview, Python, or similar programs.
- Demonstrated experience in applying actuarial concepts to independently model and analyze actuarial financial metrics.
