Job Overview

The role of IT Infrastructure Engineer is key to our team's success.

We are seeking a talented professional to contribute to the implementation, operation, monitoring and maintenance of our global IT infrastructure and platforms within the TechOps team.

This individual will provide high-quality, stable compute platforms for our business, including internal systems and commercial platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a team delivering the implementation, operation, monitoring and maintenance of the global IT infrastructure and platforms.
  • Provide 24x7 operations of infrastructure components including data center/server room assets, networking, security technology, hosting (cloud), storage, hypervisor, container, backup, resilience, continuity/recovery.
  • Ensure designs are created, implemented, tested, and deployed into the operational phase; collaborate with the Design Authority and other TechOps and Service Delivery teams to ensure services and platforms are fully documented and training is available.
  • Prepare and support IT operations solutions and services, physical or virtual, in line with industry and organizational best practices, standards, service requirements and KPIs throughout the product life cycle.
  • Create and maintain documentation; perform routine tasks according to processes and checklists; monitor infrastructure and application services; alert and take appropriate action; participate in cross-functional teams as directed by TechOps Team Managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Microsoft Server technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS.
  • Linux operating systems, build and configuration.
  • Hypervisor administration (VMware experience preferred).
  • Backup solutions (Veeam experience preferred).
  • Network experience (IPv4, DNS, DHCP, Firewalling).
  • Very good communication background in working with US/UK counterparts.
