Job Description:

We are seeking a Financial Management Professional to join our Business Unit Finance team. This role will involve ensuring the financial integrity of our operational business units, projects, and tenders.

The position demands providing technical management accounting, cost management, and comprehensive financial support services to meet both internal and external reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the business unit finance team with reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across various projects and tenders.
  • Oversee financial ledger management, including accruals and reclasses, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze labor and overhead costs, ensuring proper cost recording and spend control.
  • Efficiently manage tender and project financials, optimizing cash flow, and supporting tender setups.
  • Oversee submission of tax and business activity statements.
  • Drive organizational change, promoting a consistent, disciplined, and efficient work culture.
  • Engage with various internal teams and external partners to support financial and operational objectives.
  • Adhere to SHE Cultural Framework, demonstrating a commitment to minimize hazards and associated risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or any related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial/accounting role within the construction, engineering, or property industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems, and experience with financial reporting tools
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of diverse teams.
  • Preferably with Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants certification
