Job Overview

A skilled Senior Software Development Professional is being sought by our organization to join the Feature Engineering department in Medellin, Colombia. The ideal candidate will possess broad system knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to create efficient software solutions that drive business growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize TypeScript applications using Nest.js and Next.js frameworks.
  • Implement and integrate with Shopify APIs to enhance functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
  • Debug and resolve issues related to Shopify API interactions, frontend, and backend performance.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience developing in Nest.js, Next.js, React.js, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript programming languages.
  • Experience with Shopify API and custom Shopify app development.
  • Solid understanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR) in Next.js.
  • Proficiency in CSS-in-JS solutions like Tailwind CSS and Styled Components.
  • Strong understanding of authentication mechanisms, including OAuth, JWT, and session management.
  • Experience with state management using Redux, React Context, and Zustand.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, Git workflows, and deployment strategies like Vercel and AWS.
