**Senior Software Engineer Role**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Medellin, Colombia. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of technology systems and strong communication skills.

  • The successful candidate will develop and maintain applications leveraging Nest.js and Next.js frameworks.
  • Implement and optimize integrations with Shopify APIs to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop maintainable code using TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
  • Ensure application performance and scalability through optimization techniques.
  • Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to guarantee high-quality code.

Qualifications:**

  • 6+ years of experience developing in Nest.js, Next.js, React.js or similar frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
  • Experience with Shopify API and developing custom Shopify apps.
  • Solid understanding of SSR, SSG, and ISR in Next.js.
  • Proficiency in CSS-in-JS solutions (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Styled Components).
  • Strong understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, session management).
  • Experience with state management using Redux, React Context, or Zustand.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and deployment strategies (Vercel, AWS, etc.).
