Financial Application Specialist

The primary service contact will assist customers in effectively utilizing the software to meet their business objectives. This role provides technical consultative application support for a project-based environment.

The position will involve:

  • Pulling service request tickets and documenting challenges, expectations, and necessary logs.
  • Using case management systems to record information regarding challenges.
  • Replicating customer challenges using remote access utilities and resources.
  • Leveraging knowledgebase resources and documentation for known solutions.
  • Isolating causes and taking restorative actions while minimizing disruption to the customer's business operation.
  • Providing timely status updates throughout the life of the service request until resolution.

This role requires excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask dynamically and prioritize focus correctly.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Finance Analyst and/or Accounting and Finance.
  • 2+ years technical, financial, accounting and/or customer service experience with financial programs.
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server, MS office, Azure, and relational database concepts.
  • Exceptional customer service soft skills with expertise in troubleshooting and solving complex problems.
