Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Platform Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing scalable multi-node Kubernetes clusters on-premises, in AWS EKS or Azure AKS.

  • A key aspect of this role is automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible and Helm.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and other relevant tools.
  • Implementing robust monitoring, logging and alerting systems is also crucial.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Kubernetes administration, with expertise in Terraform and strong experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions. Additionally, they will have hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Azure, and exposure to MLOps workflows and large language model (LLM) deployment.

In this role, you will work closely with software engineering teams to enable fast and reliable deployment cycles. You will collaborate with IT and Support teams to troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required, with a Master's degree being a plus. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer or similar role is necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This position requires the following skills and qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes administration.
  • Expertise in Terraform and CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with MLOps workflows and large language model (LLM) deployment.
  • Linux system administration skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of English language both verbally and written.

Awarded certifications in cloud computing and DevOps can be an asset in this role.
