Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. The role will be critical in day-to-day accounting and financial processes to deliver accurate, complete, and timely financial reports.

This position requires strong analytical skills to prepare and post journal entries for various transactions, including accruals and adjustments.

The Financial Analyst must maintain the general ledger, ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate.

  • Maintain the integrity of the financial records by reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to perform audits and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Financial Analysis
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Financial Planning
  • Develop and implement financial plans to achieve business objectives.
Financial Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA title and US GAAP familiarity are a plus.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience as an accounting professional, preferably with external and/or internal audit experience.
  • Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets expertise.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Google Workspace.
  • Able to dissect and comprehend legal agreements between entities.
  • Experience in using accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and Zoho.
  • Can reconcile external documentation and company records to ensure transactions match and resolve discrepancies.
  • Can make adjustments as needed, including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries.
  • Experience in intercompany reconciliation.
  • Comprehension of essential financial statements like profit and loss, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows.
  • Collaborative and approachable team player.
