Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, from invoice processing to reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:- Process supplier invoices in Xero, ensuring accurate coding and categorization
- Maintain a detailed register of major suppliers and perform regular reconciliations
- Cross-check entity names on invoices with project entities and confirm approvals
- Conduct weekly follow-ups with key staff to ensure timely approval of invoices
- Proactively follow up with suppliers for outstanding summary statements
- Perform Xero bank reconciliations for specific projects
- Prepare and distribute weekly payment summaries for ongoing projects
- Complete weekly accounts payable reconciliations
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience in an Australian company
- Demonstrated experience using Xero accounting software
