Security Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned security expert to monitor and manage client security systems, respond to incidents, and provide recommendations for improving security posture.
Duties and Responsibilities- Monitor and manage client security systems, including endpoint protection, email security, log aggregation, network security, identity threat protection, dark web protection, data loss prevention, and vulnerability scanners.
- Respond to and manage security incidents, including incident investigations, malware detections, and zero-day vulnerabilities.
- Monitor and research evolving security threats and provide detailed analysis for security communication with clients.
- Work closely with clients to understand their specific security needs and provide recommendations for improving security posture and adhering to compliance standards.
- Assist clients with the implementation and maintenance of security solutions.
- Perform security maturity and posture assessments against client environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in security analysis and management in an MSP environment.
- Hands-on experience in Cloud Security, Email Security Solutions, Network Security devices and platforms, Vulnerability Management, Compliance, Incident Management and Reporting, and enterprise cybersecurity policies and standards.
- Exceptional documentation skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze security breaches and trace sources of attacks.
- Experience working with highly regulated industries such as healthcare and financial services.
- Familiarity with SOC compliance standards and experience with SOC compliance assessments.
