Accounts Receivables Team Lead Role

This role is responsible for managing a high-performing team to ensure efficient operation of all invoicing and accounts receivable processes, including timely and accurate invoicing and proactive collection activities.


About the Position

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounts receivable with experience in leading a team and driving process improvements. They will be responsible for mentoring and developing team members, ensuring smooth invoicing and collections, and collaborating across departments to resolve issues and improve systems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a high-performing AR team to ensure smooth invoicing and collections.
  • Drive efficiency in billing processes and maintain accurate client data.
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve issues and improve systems.
  • Provide insightful reporting and support finance-related projects.
  • Champion process improvements and system enhancements.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years' experience in Accounts Receivable roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of complex invoicing systems.
  • Proven ability in debt collection in an accounts receivable role.
  • Exposure to international billings and collections.
  • Experience in leading a team, including team management and motivation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to discuss problems with clients and determine solutions.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook skills.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and organise work priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate professionally at all levels within the organisation.
  • Knowledge of Financial Management Information Systems and related systems.
  • Experience working in finance-related projects and process improvements.
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment.
