Job Description
The Channel Development Specialist is responsible for delivering sales results of the assigned territory for Pet Food of Pilmico Animal Nutrition Corporation through active selling and promotional activities.
They will build and establish strong relationships with current and potential customers, ensuring effective communication and presentation skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering monthly, quarter, and annual business objectives for the assigned territory and channel.
- Introducing, demonstrating, and promoting all Pet Food product portfolio to existing and potential customers.
- Taking sales orders from customers and liaising with customer service for order fulfillment.
- Acting as the principal ambassador of the company and source of product, dog, and cat knowledge for customers.
- Ensuring delivery of products and services to customers at a high and competitive level.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A graduate degree in Veterinary Medicine or BS Agriculture major in Animal Science.
- Minimum 2 years experience in sales.
- Veterinarian license (an advantage).
- Critical skills such as excellent understanding of dog, cat, and product knowledge, strong customer service skills, effective communication and presentation skills, ability to work independently, driving skills, basic computer skills, proficiency in productivity tools, good negotiation skills, and willingness to be based in South Luzon.
