Job Summary

The Software Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the high-quality software delivery by developing and executing test plans, implementing automated testing, and collaborating with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

About This Role

  • This position contributes to delivering high-quality software by developing and executing test plans, implementing automated testing, and collaborating with development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • You will create, review, maintain and execute test plans and test cases, execute automation test cases and report on test results.
  • Achieve high-quality deliverables while meeting deadlines, working effectively in a team environment, and communicating clearly with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with development teams throughout the entire development life cycle and perform planned and ad-hoc testing.
  • Establish and evolve processes and best practices which would ensure quality goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

Create, Review, Maintain & Execute Test Plans & Test Cases:
  • Design, develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure that software meets requirements.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of testing activities, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.

Execute Automation Test Cases & Report On Results:

  • Develop, implement, and execute automated test cases using tools like Cypress.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI processes.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.

Establish And Maintain Test Automation Frameworks:

  • Design, develop and maintain efficient and effective test automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing into CI processes.

Identify Product Deficiencies And Suggest Solutions:

  • Perform thorough analysis of product features and functionality.
  • Identify areas for improvement and suggest solutions to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Work With Development Teams Throughout Entire Development Life Cycle:

  • Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testing strategies.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on coding standards and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in QA testing for web applications.
  • Expertise in automation testing tools like Cypress.
  • Excellent knowledge of UX/UI testing and attention to details.
  • Knowledge of Test Scenarios and Test Plans for any software project.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Ability to work in a team and on your own.
  • Know-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing.
