Job Title

A Senior Security Engineer position is available, responsible for protecting the organization's information security interests and promoting a culture of security awareness.

About the Role

This role will work closely with technology functions to identify areas of improvement and support initiatives that promote information security within the organization. Key responsibilities include planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures, as well as troubleshooting security and network-related problems.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect the organization's data, systems, and networks.
  • Troubleshoot security and network-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Respond promptly to all system and/or network security issues, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Ensure the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling appropriate security controls, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in the change management process, evaluating and mitigating potential risks associated with changes to systems or processes.
  • Test and identify network and/or system security vulnerabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate the organization's security requirements, establishing and enforcing best practices and standards to ensure robust security posture.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with relevant stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective issue resolution.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field.
  • At least 8-12 years of experience in Security Engineering, including establishing and monitoring information security controls.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with at least 2 or more of the following security tools and technologies:
    • Microsoft Sentinel
    • Microsoft Defender Suites (Identity, Endpoint, Security, Cloud, etc.)
    • CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM)
    • Zscaler Cloud Security
    • Tenable Vulnerability Management
    • Physical Security
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and global teams.
  • Strong administrative capabilities in task development, time management, and resource allocation to meet target deadlines.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting, follow-through, and critical-thinking skills.
  • High level of risk intelligence and security awareness.
  • Relevant vendor and/or vendor-neutral certification(s), such as Microsoft Security Operations Analyst (SC-200) or CyberArk Trustee/CyberArk Defender/CyberArk Sentry/CyberArk Guardian.
