Takeoff Specialist for Plumbing and Sprinkler Projects

This role is critical to project estimation, requiring the ability to accurately interpret drawings, perform takeoffs, and prepare cost proposals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough takeoffs from plumbing and sprinkler drawings to determine material quantities and labor costs
  • Review all project documents and drawings to assess factors impacting the scope of work
  • Obtain vendor pricing for materials and supplies to ensure cost accuracy
  • Input takeoff data and prepare detailed proposals using provided templates in Word and Excel
Key Qualifications:
  • Experience in plumbing & sprinkler takeoffs with a focus on precision and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, for documentation and proposal preparation
  • Familiarity with digital takeoffs and markup processes using Revu Bluebeam software
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Exceptional time management skills to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints with accuracy and attention to detail
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in plumbing and sprinkler takeoffs
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
