Business Systems Developer

The role of a Business Systems Developer at RS2 SOFTWARE APAC INC. involves collaborating with the assigned Team Leader in establishing and managing client delivery plans for a portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in managing client delivery schedules for projects, changes, service requests, and mandatory releases as per clients' SLAs.
  2. Review client requirements analysis and High-Level Test Cases to prepare functional and regression test cases and viable acceptance criteria.
  3. Able to work under pressure to agreed SLAs while maintaining acceptable quality standards.
  4. Identify any flaws in the gap analysis and revert back to Change Management or Project Definition teams during testing phase.
  5. Liaise with Project Definition, Change Management, and Technical teams to ensure compliance with client business requirements and agreed specifications.
  6. Configure software systems developed by RS2 according to requirements documented by Project Definition or Change Management teams.
  7. Perform release coordination, documentation, version control, and regression testing.
  8. Provide knowledge transfer to Support Teams or other teams as required during delivery hand-over.
  9. Deliver releases to clients and provide support during implementation.
  10. Participate in onsite support or training as per clients' requests.
  11. Provide 2nd line support for clients and RS2 support teams in line with applicable SLAs.
About You:
  • You must be in possession of a degree in business and computing or a similar recognized qualification.
  • You should have a good knowledge of the payments industry and 2 years of working experience in the payments/fintech industry.
  • You must be proficient in SQL Language.
  • You must be proficient in testing methodologies and test case execution/verification with an eye for details.
  • You should be familiar with standards associated with IT practice nationally and internationally.
  • You must be able to facilitate remote and face-to-face client meetings.
  • You must possess good English communication skills as you will be collaborating with foreign clients and colleagues on a daily basis.
  • You must have strong organizational and time management skills, able to prioritize across different tasks and meet deadlines as per business objectives.
