Financial Planning Support Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled professional to support our financial planning team as a Paraplanner.

  • This role involves preparing comprehensive Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs) in line with compliance requirements.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience conducting product comparisons, strategy modelling for superannuation, insurance, and pension products.
  • Responsibilities include assisting in the setup and structuring of Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF) for property investment.
  • Utilization of financial planning software such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic is required for research and documentation purposes.
  • Candidates must work closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients while ensuring all plans comply with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive SOAs and ROAs
  • Conduct product comparisons and strategy modelling
  • Assist in SMSF setup and structuring
  • Use financial planning software
  • Work closely with senior planners
Requirements

We require:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role.
  • A strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency with financial planning tools such as Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with financial advisers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
