Job Title: IT Application Specialist

Leverage your technical expertise to ensure seamless operations of business applications.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize applications using BMC Remedy and Helix, creating workflows, forms, and automation rules that support IT and business processes.
  • Set up and manage self-service portals and service catalogs in Digital Workplace (DWP), enabling users to request services and track progress efficiently.
  • Create system integrations to connect platforms with other tools or third-party systems using REST or SOAP APIs and middleware technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues across development, testing, and production environments to ensure stability and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to gather requirements, understand needs, and deliver practical, effective solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Strong knowledge of BMC Remedy AR System and Helix ITSM platform.
  • Hands-on experience with Digital Workplace (DWP) development and configuration.
  • Proficient in using Remedy Developer Studio, including workflow creation, active links, and filters.
  • Familiarity with ITSM best practices and the ITIL framework.
  • Experience working with web services, including REST and SOAP APIs, and relational databases such as SQL is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
