Event Coordinator Role Overview

This pivotal role drives growth through tangible output, requiring exceptional communication, coordination, creativity, project management, and customer-facing sales acumen.

A self-starter adept at execution, not just instruction, is sought after to succeed in this dynamic environment that demands proactive engagement and a high degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Venue Sourcing & Partnerships: Proactively research and engage potential venues for offline events, including bazaars, pop-ups, and private gatherings.

  • Relationship Management & Negotiation: Initiate contact via email or social media, conduct site visits, and skillfully negotiate terms with venue owners and managers to secure event spaces.

  • Event Coordination & Execution: Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of events, collaborating closely with internal teams. Manage operational details, including ingress and egress arrangements.

  • International Expansion (Advanced): Contribute to the organization of monthly overseas events. Opportunities for international travel may arise for advanced candidates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional Communication: Demonstrates superior business-to-business and business-to-customer communication skills.

  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the related field.

  • Feedback Receptiveness: Possesses the humility and receptiveness to integrate feedback from team leaders.

  • Entrepreneurial Acumen (Preferred): Experience as a business owner or freelancer, showcasing a proven ability to execute independently, is highly valued.
