About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Content Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create clear and concise technical documents, including software guides, user manuals, how-to articles, and update notes.
  • Collaborate with software developers and product teams to understand new features and technologies.
  • Translate complex technical language into simple English that anyone can understand.
  • Develop helpful images like diagrams, screenshots, and flowcharts to support documentation.
  • Organize documents for easy accessibility and maintain consistency across all documentation.
  • Test instructions to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Update old documents to reflect changes and improvements.
  • Work with support teams to identify areas where documentation is needed.
  • Develop standard formats and templates for consistent documentation.
  • Contribute to new projects and suggest improvements to our documentation processes.

Requirements:

  • Tier III employee or higher.
  • Meet or exceed quality standards.
  • No current disciplinary warnings.
  • Good attendance record.
  • Ability to work from any location.
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday, 6 AM to 5 PM Central Time.
  • Strong writing skills to explain difficult concepts in simple terms.
  • Experience writing various types of technical documents.
  • Comfortable asking engineers questions to gather information.
  • Familiarity with documentation software like Confluence, Zendesk Guide, or similar.
  • Effective research skills to find information from diverse sources.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
